Where does Vitamin K come from?

Vitamin K is a natural substance found in vegetables - alfalfa, spinach, kale, carrot tops, tomatoes and certain vegetable oils.

How is Pro-K applied?

Slightly hydrate or moisten skin with warm water. Apply Pro-K twice daily directly to bruises, burns and spider veins. For best results, rub vigorously in a circular motion into the skin.

How long will Pro-K take to fade away spider veins?

This depends on the severity of your spider veins, skin type and activity levels. Some people have seen results in as little as 8-14 days. However, the average person will see results between 6 and 8 weeks when used twice daily.

What is a spider vein?

A spider vein results when a tiny tear occurs in a capillary artery, due to some sort of trauma. Spider veins often appear after childbirth, car accidents, sports injuries, or from being clumsy and perhaps bumping into a table. What you actually see is blood that has seeped out of that tiny tear and has followed the line of the damaged capillary. As an example, imagine putting a drop of water on pencil, the drop will follow the line of the pencil.

How does Pro-K heal spider veins?

Pro-K utilizes a transdermal delivery system that allows the Vitamin K to fix the damaged capillary by clotting the blood at the tiny tear, thus stopping the seepage. This allows the tissue time to heal itself. An easy example is if you cut yourself, the wound will not heal until it scabs over. The same thing happens with damaged capillaries. They will not heal until the seepage has stopped. Once, this is achieved your spider veins will naturally fade away and with regular use will not reappear.

Does Pro-K have any side effects?

Pro-K ingredients are all natural, safe and have no-side effects. Like all medicines or natural remedies, if you experience any discomfort of skin irritation discontinue use.

Will Pro-K heal bad contact bruises?

Yes, Pro-K will heal these kinds of bruises within 48-72 hours.

Can spider veins be healed with saline shots?

No, saline shots only clean the blood off the capillaries and do not heal the damaged skin tissue. Therefore, the problem has not been repaired and is only as short-term cosmetic fix.

How effective is laser surgery in healing spider veins?

Laser surgery does not always work because although the tear is repaired nothing is done to strengthen the area around the tear and usually spider veins will reappear. If you choose to have laser surgery it is recommended that you use Pro-K prior and after surgery.

I have rosecea. Will Pro-K help my complexion?

Yes, rosecea is a problem with capillaries that are damaged and leaking. Pro-K helps heal damaged and leaking blood vessels and reduces the red ruddiness complexion.

Common Reasons People Do Not Get Desired Results:

1. Compliance. You must follow the directions and use Pro-K twice daily. Irregular use will not heal damaged capillaries.

2. Not using warm water to open pores. Vitamin K can only work if it gets entirely through the sub-dermis to damaged capillaries.

3. Using too much product. This is worse than not using enough because using an over abundance of product will clog pores and does not allow the Vitamin K to get through to the sub-dermis of your skin.
